Dear Records Coordinator,

Under the Delaware Freedom of Information Act (29 Del. C. § 10003), I request copies of the following records concerning student transportation. These records support a public-interest analysis of bus-route duration, early-morning pickup times, and transportation equity for students in the District's non-contiguous (Wilmington-area) attendance zones.

### Records requested

1. **High school attendance / feeder assignments** — records showing which attendance areas or feeder zones (including the Wilmington-area zones, e.g., Pulaski and Stubbs feeder areas) are assigned to which District high school(s), and how students in non-contiguous areas are assigned to a high school.

2. **Bus routes and schedules (current school year)** — for high school transportation serving the Wilmington-area attendance zones and, for comparison, Newark-area zones: route maps or stop lists, **scheduled first pickup times**, and scheduled school arrival times. GIS route shapes (GeoJSON/shapefile/KML) if maintained; otherwise route sheets/PDF.

3. **Bell schedule** — the official start and end times for each District high school for the current school year.

4. **Transportation eligibility / walk zones** — the policy defining which students receive bus transportation (distance thresholds, hazard-busing provisions) and any designated walk zones.

5. **Bus fleet specifications** — the vehicle height and gross vehicle weight (GVW) of the school-bus types used on these routes, sufficient to determine clearance and weight constraints.

6. **Rail-crossing routing guidance** — any District or contractor guidance on which railroad crossings buses may or may not use, or required crossing procedures.
